Be Still and Know He Is Fighting for You
Scripture Reading:
“The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” — Exodus 14:14
🕊️ MEDITATION
Stillness is not weakness.
Stillness is confidence in a God who never loses battles.
Many times, God asks us to be still because He wants us to stop fighting battles that are not ours. Some battles are too spiritual, too heavy, or too hidden for human strength. Only God can handle them.
Being still means:
You stop arguing your case — God becomes your defender.
You stop fighting with your strength, God becomes your warrior.
You stop fearing the unknown, God goes before you.
When God fights for you, victory is guaranteed.
📌 THREE WAYS GOD FIGHTS FOR YOU
- He Fights Through His Presence: Where God is, darkness cannot stand.
“As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people…” — Psalm 125:2 - He Fights Through His Angels: Many victories you enjoy happened without your awareness.
“The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him and delivers them.” — Psalm 34:7 - He Fights Through His Word: One word from God can silence oppositions and scatter enemies.
“Is not my word like fire… and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?” — Jeremiah 23:29
