Be Still and Guard Your Mind
Scripture Reading:
“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You…” — Isaiah 26:3
🕊️ MEDITATION
Your mind is the battlefield where peace is won or lost. Many believers are spiritually strong but mentally troubled, not because God is absent, but because their minds are not still.
A restless mind Overthinks.
Assumes the worst.
Magnifies fear.
Accepts lies easily.
But a still mind is anchored in God’s truth.
Being still is not only about quietness around you; it is about quietness inside you.
God wants to bring your thoughts under His peace so you can think clearly, hear Him better, and walk in confidence.
📌 THREE WAYS TO GUARD YOUR MIND THROUGH STILLness
- Fill Your Mind With God’s Word
A mind filled with Scripture cannot be controlled by fear. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly…” — Colossians 3:16
- Cast Down Negative Thoughts Immediately: Don’t entertain thoughts that didn’t come from God.
“…bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” — 2 Corinthians 10:5 - Stay Calm in God’s Presence Daily: His presence quiets inner storms.
“In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and confidence shall be your strength.” — Isaiah 30:15
