The Birth of Hope to a Hopeless World.
Scripture Reading:
“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given…” — Isaiah 9:6
🕊️ MEDITATION
Before Jesus was born, the world was heavy with sin, fear, oppression, and silence.
For centuries, heaven seemed quiet, until hope was born.
Jesus did not come into a perfect world; He came into a broken one, as the world currently is.
His birth announced that God had not abandoned humanity.
Hope is not a feeling, it is a Person.
Where Jesus is present, despair loses its power.
No matter how dark life feels, the birth of Christ declares that hope still lives.
📌 THREE WAYS JESUS’ BIRTH BROUGHT HOPE:
- Hope of Salvation: Sin no longer had the final word.
Scripture:
“For the Son of Man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” — Luke 19:10 - Hope of Peace With God: Reconciliation became possible.
Scripture:
“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God…” — Romans 5:1 - Hope of a New Beginning: Lives could start afresh.
Scripture:
“If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17
