Be Still and Overcome Fear
Scripture Reading:
“Fear not, for I am with you…” — Isaiah 41:10
🕊️ MEDITATION
Fear is one of the greatest enemies of stillness.
It shakes your confidence, distracts your heart, and blinds your faith.
The presence of fear is often the absence of stillness.
God’s command “Fear not” is not a suggestion; it is an invitation to trust Him deeply.
He knows fear can paralyze your progress, silence your prayers, and weaken your faith — that is why He continually reminds you that He is with you.
Being still in the face of fear means:
You refuse to panic.
You refuse to imagine the worst.
You choose faith over feelings.
You rest in God’s protection and promises.
Stillness is the believer’s antidote to fear.
📌 THREE WAYS TO OVERCOME FEAR THROUGH STILLness
- Remember God Is With You
Fear loses power when you become conscious of His presence.
“Even though I walk through the valley… You are with me.” — Psalm 23:4
- Speak God’s Word Against Fear
Fear thrives in silence; the Word defeats it.
“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?” — Psalm 27:1
- Rest in God’s Love
Perfect love casts out fear — not human courage.
“There is no fear in love… perfect love casts out fear.” — 1 John 4:18
