Scripture Reading:
“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”
— Psalm 51:10
️ MEDITATION
Spiritual sensitivity can be weakened by distraction, sin, busyness, or neglect of devotion.
Fasting and prayer serve as spiritual reset buttons — restoring alertness, purity, and responsiveness to God.
When the soul is constantly occupied with worldly noise, the spirit becomes dull. Fasting quiets the noise, and prayer reawakens the heart.
God desires a people who are sensitive to His promptings, quick to obey, and responsive to His presence.
Sensitivity is not emotionalism; it is spiritual alertness.
Through fasting and prayer, dull hearts are revived and intimacy with God is restored.
 KEY TRUTHS ABOUT SPIRITUAL SENSITIVITY.
1. Sensitivity Requires Purity of Heart: Clean hearts hear God clearly.
Supporting Scripture:
“Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” — Matthew 5:8.
2. Fasting Clears Spiritual Dullness: Discipline awakens alertness.
Supporting Scripture:
“Awake thou that sleepest…” — Ephesians 5:14
3. Prayer Reconnects the Heart to God: Intimacy restores responsiveness.
Supporting Scripture:
“Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you.” — James 4:8
