PREPARING YOUR SPIRIT FOR DIVINE DIRECTION
DATE: 2nd of FEBRUARY 2026
AUTHOR: Evang Ademola Elemo
SERIES: SPIRITUAL PREPARATION
Scripture Reading:
“Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31
️ MEDITATION:
Divine direction is not accidental; it flows from a prepared spirit. Many desire guidance but have not positioned their spirit to hear God clearly. When the spirit is cluttered with noise, fear, or self-will, divine signals are easily missed.
Preparing your spirit means cultivating sensitivity to God’s voice through prayer, obedience, and stillness. God speaks consistently, but only prepared spirits recognize His leading.
Direction brings preservation, speed, and accuracy in life’s decisions.
When your spirit is aligned, God’s instructions become clear, timely, and purposeful.
 KEY TRUTHS ABOUT DIVINE DIRECTION:
1. God Leads Through a Prepared Spirit; Direction flows from spiritual sensitivity.
Supporting Scripture:
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” — Romans 8:14
2. Stillness Enhances Spiritual Hearing: A quiet spirit hears God better.
Supporting Scripture:
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
3. Obedience Sharpens Direction: God reveals more when we obey what we already know.
Supporting Scripture:
“If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine.” — John 7:17
