 SCRIPTURE READING
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8
“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” — 1 Peter 2:24
️ MEDITATION
The death of Christ is the foundation of our salvation.
Jesus did not die as an accident of histor, He died intentionally, fulfilling God’s plan to redeem mankind.
On the cross, every sin, every shame, every bondage, every accusation, and every sickness was paid for.
Because He died:
We are reconciled to God.
We are forgiven completely.
We are delivered from the power of sin.
Healing, peace, and restoration are available to us.
His death was substitutionary, He took what we deserved so we could receive what we did not deserve.
Today, meditate on the magnitude of His sacrifice and let it remind you that victory, freedom, and new life are yours because He died.
