️ MEDITATION
Fear is one of the greatest enemies of faith—but faith has the power to overcome it.
Throughout Scripture, we see men and women who faced fear but chose to trust God instead.
When David stood before Goliath, everything about the situation was intimidating—a giant warrior, a battlefield, and a young shepherd with no armor. Naturally, fear should have taken over.
But David chose faith. He trusted in God’s power, not his own ability, and victory followed.
When Daniel was thrown into the lions’ den, fear could have overwhelmed him. Yet, he remained steadfast in trust. God honored his faith and shut the mouths of the lions.
Also, when Peter began to sink while walking on water, it was fear that interrupted his faith.
The moment he shifted his focus from Jesus to the storm, fear took over—but when he cried out, Jesus lifted him.
This is the mystery: fear speaks to your senses, but faith speaks to your spirit.
You may feel fear, but you don’t have to submit to it.
Faith does not deny fear—it overrides it by trusting in God’s presence and power.
