DATE: 14th of June 2026
AUTHOR: Evang Ademola Elemo
SERIES: DESTINY AND FATE
 SCRIPTURE READING
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.” — Hebrews 12:2
️ MEDITATION
The ultimate goal of destiny is not merely to start well, but to finish well.
Many people begin with passion, vision, and great potential, but not everyone completes the assignment God has given them. The true measure of success in God’s Kingdom is not how well you start, but how faithfully you finish.
Consider Paul the Apostle. He endured persecution, imprisonment, rejection, hardship, and countless trials. Yet at the end of his life, he confidently declared that he had fought the good fight, finished his course, and kept the faith.
 Scripture Guidance:
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7
Think about Jesus Christ. Despite opposition, betrayal, suffering, and the agony of the cross, He remained committed to the Father’s will until the very end.
 Scripture Guidance:
“It is finished.” — John 19:30
Also, consider Caleb. At eighty-five years old, he still possessed the faith and determination to claim the inheritance God had promised decades earlier. He refused to quit before reaching his destiny.
 Scripture Guidance:
“As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me.” — Joshua 14:11
In contrast, King Saul started with great promise but failed to finish well because of disobedience and pride.
 Scripture Guidance:
“Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.” — 1 Samuel 15:23
This is the mystery: destiny is fulfilled through consistent faithfulness, not occasional enthusiasm.
It is not enough to receive a prophecy, a calling, or a vision. You must remain faithful, obedient, humble, and dependent on God until the end.
The God who authored your destiny desires to help you finish it successfully.
 KINGDOM TRUTHS ABOUT FINISHING WELL
