SERIES:DO NOT QUIT THE JOURNEY
 SCRIPTURE READING
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith…” — Hebrews 12:2
“Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent…” — Revelation 2:5
“My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.” — Psalm 62:5
️ MEDITATION
There are moments in life when motivation fades, strength feels low, and the desire to continue becomes weak. In such seasons, the most dangerous decision is to forget why you started.
Many people quit not because the journey is impossible, but because they lose sight of purpose. When purpose becomes unclear, pressure becomes heavier than passion.
But God calls His children to remember—not just the pain, but the promise; not just the struggle, but the calling.
Consider Nehemiah. When opposition rose strongly against the work, he could have stopped. Instead, he remembered the assignment God gave him and continued building despite threats and discouragement.
 Scripture Guidance:
“I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down.” — Nehemiah 6:3
Consider Paul the Apostle. He endured persecution, imprisonment, and hardship, yet he never forgot his calling. Even when discouraged, he pressed forward because he remembered his mission in Christ.
 Scripture Guidance:
“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 3:14
This is the mystery: When purpose is clear, quitting becomes difficult.
The enemy often attacks your memory before your destiny—because if you forget why you started, you may abandon what God is building in you.
