 SCRIPTURE READING
“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid… for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” — Deuteronomy 31:6
“Let us run with patience the race that is set before us.” — Hebrews 12:1
“I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” — Hebrews 13:5
️ MEDITATION
Every journey with God is designed to be finished, not abandoned. The enemy often fights hardest at the point of completion because he knows that a finished assignment glorifies God and confirms destiny.
Many believers start well, grow well, and even serve well—but the greatest victory is not starting strong; it is finishing strong.
God does not only give grace for beginnings—He gives grace for endurance.
Consider Joshua. He did not only help Moses serve God; he completed his own assignment by leading Israel into the Promised Land. God strengthened him repeatedly with the command:
“Be strong and courageous.”
 Scripture Guidance:
“Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you…” — Joshua 1:3
Consider Paul the Apostle. Despite trials, imprisonment, and opposition, he did not stop halfway. He finished his race with confidence and faith.
 Scripture Guidance:
“I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7
Also consider Jesus Christ. Even in suffering on the cross, He did not abandon His mission. He declared victory at the end, completing the work of salvation.
 Scripture Guidance:
“It is finished.” — John 19:30
This is the mystery: God’s presence is not only with you at the beginning—it is with you until the end.
The journey may be long, the process may be slow, and the battles may be real, but God’s promise remains sure:
He will not leave you halfway.
When you understand this:
discouragement loses power
fear loses control
quitting loses appeal
endurance becomes possible
