 SCRIPTURE READING
“There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.” — Proverbs 21:20
“For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost…?” — Luke 14:28
“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” — 1 Corinthians 4:2
️ MEDITATION
Everything God places in your hands—your money, time, gifts, opportunities, health, and relationships—is a trust, not merely a possession. One day, every believer will give an account of how those resources were managed.
Many people think prosperity is measured by how much they earn, but in God’s Kingdom, prosperity is also measured by how faithfully they manage what they have.
The problem is not always a lack of resources; often it is a lack of stewardship. Some people earn much but save nothing. Others receive opportunities but waste them. Some spend impulsively and then pray for financial breakthroughs while ignoring God’s principles of wisdom.
God blesses faithful stewards because He knows they can be trusted with greater responsibility.
Consider Joseph. As governor of Egypt, he wisely managed the nation’s abundance during the seven fruitful years. Instead of wasting the harvest, he stored it, ensuring there was enough during the famine. His wisdom preserved countless lives.
 Scripture Guidance:
“Joseph gathered corn as the sand of the sea, very much…” — Genesis 41:49
Consider The Ant. Though small and without a ruler, the ant prepares its food during harvest and stores it for future need. God presents this as an example of wisdom and diligence.
 Scripture Guidance:
“Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise.” — Proverbs 6:6–8
Also consider The Faithful Servants. The servants who wisely invested what their master entrusted to them were rewarded with greater responsibilities. The servant who buried his talent lost even what he had.
 Scripture Guidance:
“Well done, thou good and faithful servant… I will make thee ruler over many things.” — Matthew 25:21
This is the mystery:
God does not only bless increase; He blesses faithful management.
If you cannot faithfully manage little, you will struggle to manage much.
Faithful stewardship means:
spending with wisdom, saving with discipline,
giving with generosity, planning with understanding, and trusting God in every decision.
A wise steward does not consume everything today because he understands that tomorrow also has needs.

 ACTION POINT FOR TODAY
Review your use of time and finances. Create a simple plan or budget that reflects wisdom, generosity, saving, and responsible spending. Ask God to help you remain faithful in every area of stewardship.
 SPECIAL INSIGHT
A wise steward does not ask only, “Can I afford this?” but also, “Is this God’s best use of what He has entrusted to me?”
Remember: Every coin you spend, every hour you use, and every opportunity you receive is a seed. Manage today’s resources wisely, and you will secure tomorrow’s harvest.
