“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” — 1 John 5:4
️ MEDITATION
To many people, the cross looked like defeat.
Jesus was mocked, beaten, and crucified. The enemy thought he had won.
But what looked like defeat was actually the greatest victory in history.
At the cross, Jesus disarmed the powers of darkness.
The authority of sin was broken, the dominion of Satan was shattered, and the power of death was defeated.
The mystery of the cross is that victory came through sacrifice.
Through His death, Christ triumphed over every spiritual force that stood against humanity.
Because of that victory, believers now live from a place of triumph, not defeat.
The cross reminds us that no battle we face today is greater than the victory Christ already secured.
