 SCRIPTURE READING
“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest… shall not cease.” — Genesis 8:22
“He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.” — 2 Corinthians 9:6
️ MEDITATION
Every harvest begins with a seed.
Planting seasons are not always exciting because they require giving, effort, sacrifice, and patience—often without immediate visible results.
But in God’s kingdom, nothing grows without first being planted.
Consider Isaac. In a time of famine, when others were withholding, he sowed in the land. It did not look like the right season naturally, yet God honored his obedience, and he reaped a hundredfold.
Think about the widow of Zarephath. In her last moment of lack, she gave to the prophet. That act of sowing in scarcity unlocked supernatural provision—her supply did not run dry.
Also, Jesus Christ described Himself as a seed that must fall to the ground and die to produce much fruit.
His sacrifice brought salvation to the world.
This is the mystery: what you sow determines what you reap.
Planting seasons may require faith because the seed often leaves your hand before it returns in harvest.
But every act of obedience, kindness, giving, prayer, and service is a seed planted into your future.
