 SCRIPTURE READING
“Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” — Joshua 1:9
“The righteous are bold as a lion.” — Proverbs 28:1
“God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7
️ MEDITATION
One of the mysteries of the eagle is its courage. The eagle does not fear height. It does not fear storms. It does not fear isolation. It thrives where other birds hesitate.
In the same way, God is raising believers who are not controlled by fear but strengthened by faith. Spiritual elevation always demands courage.
The higher you go in God, the more you must overcome fear, doubt, and intimidation.
Many people remain low not because they are not called higher, but because they are afraid of what higher levels require. Fear keeps people grounded. Courage lifts them into destiny.
Consider David. While others saw Goliath as an impossible threat, David saw a covenant opportunity. His courage was not based on size or strength but on confidence in God.
 Scripture Guidance:
“Thou comest to me with a sword… but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts.” — 1 Samuel 17:45
Consider Esther. She risked her life by approaching the king without being summoned. Yet her courage became the doorway to deliverance for her people.
 Scripture Guidance:
“If I perish, I perish.” — Esther 4:16
Also consider Joshua. When called to lead Israel into the Promised Land, he faced giants, fortified cities, and uncertainty. But God repeatedly commanded him to be strong and courageous.
 Scripture Guidance:
“Only be thou strong and very courageous.” — Joshua 1:7
This is the mystery: Fear lowers destiny. Courage elevates destiny.
The eagle does not retreat from the sky—it owns its space in the air.
In the same way, believers must refuse fear:
fear of failure
fear of rejection
fear of the unknown
fear of stepping out in faith
Because fear does not come from God.
When courage rises:
faith becomes action
vision becomes reality
destiny moves forward
spiritual authority increases
