 SCRIPTURE READING
“Ye are the salt of the earth… Ye are the light of the world.” — Matthew 5:13–14
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your
Father which is in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16
“Be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” — 1 Timothy 4:12
️ MEDITATION
God has never called His people to hide their faith. He has called them to live it. A spiritually minded believer should influence the world, not imitate it. We are called to be salt that preserves righteousness and light that shines in a dark world.
Influence is not determined by your position, wealth, education, or popularity. It is determined by the consistency of your godly character.
Every conversation, every decision, every act of kindness, every display of integrity, and every word of encouragement can point someone to Christ.
Many people may never read the Bible before they read your life. They will learn about Christ by observing how you respond to challenges, how you treat people, and how faithfully you live out your faith.
Consider Daniel. Though he lived in a pagan nation, Daniel refused to compromise his relationship with God. He prayed faithfully, served with excellence, spoke with wisdom, and maintained unquestionable integrity. His influence reached kings, and through his life, pagan rulers acknowledged the greatness of the God of Israel.
 Scripture Guidance:
“Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him.” — Daniel 6:3
Consider Esther. God placed her in a position of influence for a divine purpose. She used her influence with courage, humility, and wisdom to preserve an entire nation from destruction.
 Scripture Guidance:
“If I perish, I perish.” — Esther 4:16
Also, consider Paul the Apostle. His influence extended far beyond the churches he planted.
Through his letters, his example, and his
unwavering devotion to Christ, he continues to inspire believers around the world centuries later. His life reminds us that Kingdom influence leaves an eternal legacy.
 Scripture Guidance:
“Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.” — 1 Corinthians 11:1
This is the mystery: Influence is not about being noticed—it is about faithfully representing Christ wherever God has placed you.
The world needs believers who are honest when others are dishonest.
Who forgive when others seek revenge.
Who serve when others seek recognition.
Who speak truth with love.
Who remain faithful when compromise seems easier.
Your greatest sermon is often the life you live.
