“God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” — James 4:6

“Before honour is humility.” — Proverbs 15:33
️ MEDITATION
One of the unchanging spiritual laws in God’s Kingdom is the Law of Humility. While the world often celebrates self-promotion, God’s Kingdom exalts those who humble themselves before Him.
Humility is not thinking less of yourself; it is thinking of yourself correctly according to God’s Word. It is recognizing that every gift, ability, opportunity, and achievement comes from God.
A humble person gives God the glory and remains teachable regardless of position or success.
Pride was the reason for Satan’s fall, but humility was the pathway to Christ’s exaltation. Pride seeks recognition; humility seeks God’s approval. Pride depends on self; humility depends on God.
Consider Moses. Though he led millions of people and performed extraordinary miracles through God’s power, he remained humble before the Lord.
 Scripture Guidance:
“Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.” — Numbers 12:3
Consider Jesus Christ. Though He is the King of kings, He humbled Himself by taking the form of a servant and becoming obedient unto death on the cross. Because of His humility, God highly exalted Him.
 Scripture Guidance:
“He humbled himself… Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him.” — Philippians 2:8–9
Also consider Nebuchadnezzar. His pride led to his downfall. When he exalted himself above God, he lost his kingdom for a season. It was only after he humbled himself and acknowledged God’s sovereignty that his kingdom was restored.
 Scripture Guidance:
“Those that walk in pride he is able to abase.” — Daniel 4:37
This is the mystery:
Humility attracts God’s grace, while pride invites God’s resistance.
God is not impressed by titles, wealth, influence, or achievements. He looks at the heart. A humble heart becomes a dwelling place for God’s favor and promotion.
When humility governs your life:
God’s grace increases.
Wisdom grows.
Relationships flourish.
Promotion comes at God’s appointed time.
Your heart remains teachable.
