 SCRIPTURE READING
“As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” — 1 Peter 4:10
“A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.” — Proverbs 18:16
️ MEDITATION
God never gives gifts without a purpose. Every talent, ability, spiritual gift, passion, and grace that God places within a person is connected to a divine assignment.
Many people admire their gifts but fail to understand their purpose. Gifts are not merely for personal advancement; they are tools given by God to fulfill His purpose and bless others.
Your gift is a clue to your calling.
Consider David. Before he became king, God developed his gifts as a shepherd, musician, warrior, and leader. The skills he learned in obscurity became instruments for fulfilling his destiny.
 Scripture Guidance:
“And David took an harp, and played with his hand.” — 1 Samuel 16:23
Think about Bezalel. God specifically gifted him with wisdom, craftsmanship, and artistic skill to build the Tabernacle.
 Scripture Guidance:
“I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge.” — Exodus 31:3
Also, Timothy received spiritual gifts that equipped him for ministry. Paul encouraged him not to neglect or ignore what God had placed within him.
 Scripture Guidance:
“Neglect not the gift that is in thee.” — 1 Timothy 4:14
This is the mystery: your gift is God’s investment in your destiny.
What God has placed inside you is meant to serve others, glorify Him, and advance His Kingdom. When you discover and develop your gifts, you position yourself to walk more effectively in your purpose.
Many people pray for opportunities while neglecting the gifts already in their hands.
The gift may be hidden, but it must not remain undeveloped.
