📖 SCRIPTURE READING
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” — Romans 8:28
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.” — Psalm 34:19
🕊️ MEDITATION
One of the hardest truths to understand is that God can use pain to fulfill purpose.
No one enjoys suffering, disappointment, rejection, or hardship. Yet throughout Scripture, some of God’s greatest servants were shaped through seasons of pain before stepping into their destiny.
Pain is often the classroom where God teaches lessons that comfort and success cannot teach.
Consider Joseph. He received dreams from God, but before those dreams were fulfilled, he experienced betrayal by his brothers, slavery in Egypt, false accusations, and imprisonment. What appeared to be setbacks were actually preparations for leadership.
📖 Scripture Guidance:
“But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good.” — Genesis 50:20
Think about Job. He endured tremendous loss and suffering, yet remained faithful to God. Through his trials, he gained a deeper revelation of God’s greatness and faithfulness.
📖 Scripture Guidance:
“I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.” — Job 42:5
Also, consider Jesus Christ. The greatest purpose in history—the salvation of humanity—was accomplished through the suffering of the cross.
📖 Scripture Guidance:
“Who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross.” — Hebrews 12:2
This is the mystery: God does not waste pain.
What the enemy intends to use for destruction, God can transform into preparation, promotion, testimony, and ministry.
Many of the wounds you survive become the places from which you later help others heal.
The prison prepared Joseph. The ashes prepared Job.
The cross revealed Christ’s glory.
Likewise, your current struggle may be preparing you for a future assignment you cannot yet see.

Pain often develops patience, humility, and faith.
📖 “The trying of your faith worketh patience.” — James 1:3

3. God Brings Purpose Out of Suffering
The Lord can turn wounds into testimonies.
📖 “The Lord delivereth him out of them all.” — Psalm 34:19
