📖 SCRIPTURE READING
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” — Galatians 6:9
“Ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.” — Hebrews 10:36
🕊️ MEDITATION
Every God-given purpose will eventually be tested. There will be seasons when progress seems slow, prayers appear unanswered, and circumstances suggest that nothing is happening.
In those moments, many people are tempted to quit. Yet one of the greatest requirements for fulfilling purpose is perseverance.
Perseverance is the ability to remain faithful when results are not yet visible. It is continuing to obey God when the journey becomes difficult.
Consider Noah. God instructed him to build an ark long before any sign of rain appeared. For years he continued working, trusting God’s word despite the absence of visible evidence.
📖 Scripture Guidance:
“Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.” — Genesis 6:22
Think about Abraham. God promised him a son, yet decades passed before the promise was fulfilled. Abraham had to learn endurance while waiting for God’s appointed time.
📖 Scripture Guidance:
“And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.” — Hebrews 6:15
Also, consider Nehemiah. Despite opposition, criticism, and threats, he refused to abandon the work God had given him.
📖 Scripture Guidance:
“So built we the wall.” — Nehemiah 4:6
This is the mystery: many people are closer to breakthrough than they realize when they decide to quit.
The enemy cannot stop God’s purpose, but he often tries to discourage God’s people into abandoning it.
Do not judge God’s faithfulness by your current circumstances. What God has promised, He is able to perform.
Your responsibility is faithfulness. God’s responsibility is fulfillment.
