“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” — Psalm 23:1
️ MEDITATION
One of the greatest revelations a believer can have is that God is not only the Source of life—He is also the Source of provision.
Many people focus on resources, but God wants us to focus on the Source. Resources may fluctuate, opportunities may come and go, but God remains faithful.
Consider Elijah. During a season of famine, God provided for him through ravens by the brook Cherith.
When the brook dried up, God simply changed the channel and used a widow in Zarephath. The Source never failed even when one channel ended.
 Scripture Guidance:
“I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.” — 1 Kings 17:4
“Arise, get thee to Zarephath… behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.” — 1 Kings 17:9
Think about Moses and the children of Israel in the wilderness. They had no farms, no stores, and no visible means of survival, yet God supplied manna from heaven daily for forty years.
 Scripture Guidance:
“Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you.” — Exodus 16:4
Also, Jesus Christ fed five thousand men with five loaves and two fish. What seemed insufficient became more than enough when placed in God’s hands.
 Scripture Guidance:
“And they did all eat, and were filled.” — Matthew 14:20
This is the mystery: God’s provision is not limited by human resources.
When God is your Source, lack does not have the final word. He can provide through expected channels, unexpected channels, and even miraculous means.
Your responsibility is to trust and obey; God’s responsibility is to provide.
KINGDOM TRUTHS ABOUT RECEIVING PROVISION FROM THE SOURCE
1. God Is the Ultimate Provider
Every provision originates from Him.
“My God shall supply all your need.” — Philippians 4:19
2. God Can Change Channels Without Changing His Promise: The Source remains constant even when methods change.
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” — Psalm 23:1
3. God’s Provision Often Requires Faith
Trust opens the door for divine supply.
“Seek ye first the kingdom of God… and all these things shall be added unto you.” — Matthew 6:33
