“Before honour is humility.” — Proverbs 15:33
🕊️ MEDITATION
Humility is one of the most beautiful qualities in the Kingdom of God. It is not weakness, low self-esteem, or thinking less of yourself.
Rather, humility is having a proper view of yourself before God—recognizing that every blessing, ability, opportunity, and success comes from Him.
Humility positions a person to receive God’s grace, wisdom, favor, and promotion.
Throughout Scripture, God consistently exalts those who humble themselves before Him.
Consider Moses. Despite leading millions of people and performing mighty miracles, Moses remained humble before God.
📖 Scripture Guidance:
“Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.” — Numbers 12:3
Because of his humility, God entrusted him with extraordinary responsibilities and spoke with him intimately.
Think about John the Baptist. Although he had a powerful ministry, he understood his role and gave glory to Jesus.
📖 Scripture Guidance:
“He must increase, but I must decrease.” — John 3:30
His humility allowed him to fulfill his assignment without seeking personal glory.
Above all, consider Jesus Christ. Though He was Lord of all, He humbled Himself, served others, washed His disciples’ feet, and ultimately died on the cross for humanity.
📖 Scripture Guidance:
“He humbled himself, and became obedient unto death.” — Philippians 2:8
Because of His humility and obedience:
📖 Scripture Guidance:
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him.” — Philippians 2:9
This is the mystery: the Kingdom of God operates opposite to the systems of the world.
The world says, “Promote yourself.” God says, “Humble yourself.”
The world says, “Seek greatness.” God says, “Serve others.”
The world says, “Exalt yourself.” God says, “I will exalt you in due time.”
Humility attracts God’s presence because humble hearts remain dependent upon Him.
📌 KINGDOM TRUTHS ABOUT HUMILITY

2. Humility Precedes Promotion
God promotes those who trust Him with the process.

3. Humility Reflects Christ’s Character

📖 “Whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister.” — Matthew 20:26
