🕊️ MEDITATION
Waiting is one of God’s greatest classrooms.
Most people enjoy the fulfillment of promises, but very few enjoy the process of waiting. Yet throughout Scripture, God often uses seasons of waiting to prepare His people for the blessings they seek.
Waiting is not wasted time. In God’s Kingdom, waiting is often a season of development, transformation, and spiritual growth.
Consider Abraham. Between God’s promise and Isaac’s birth were years of waiting. During that period, God was developing Abraham’s faith and teaching him to trust beyond human limitations.
📖 Scripture Guidance:
“He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith.” — Romans 4:20
Think about David. After being anointed king, he did not immediately ascend the throne. Years passed as God trained him through shepherding, warfare, leadership, and adversity.
📖 Scripture Guidance:
“Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him.” — 1 Samuel 16:13
Also, consider The Disciples. After Jesus’ ascension, they were instructed to wait in Jerusalem for the promise of the Holy Spirit. Their waiting was preparation for power.
📖 Scripture Guidance:
“Tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” — Luke 24:49
This is the mystery: God is often more interested in what happens in you during the wait than what happens to you after the wait.
Waiting develops patience. Waiting strengthens faith. Waiting deepens dependence on God. Waiting reveals character.
Many people ask, “Lord, when will this happen?” while God is asking, “Who are you becoming while you wait?”
The promise is important, but the person you become while waiting for the promise is equally important.
📌 KINGDOM TRUTHS ABOUT WAITING
1. Waiting Is Part of God’s Process
Delays often have divine purposes.

3. Waiting Prepares You for Greater Responsibility
