🕊️ MEDITATION
One of the greatest challenges in the Christian life is trusting God’s timing.
We often know God’s promises, but we struggle with God’s schedule. We want immediate answers, quick breakthroughs, and instant fulfillment. However, God works according to His perfect timetable, not our preferred timeline.
The truth is that God is never early, never late, and never wrong. He operates according to divine timing.
Consider Abraham. God promised him a son, yet years passed before Isaac was born. What seemed like delay was actually God’s process of preparing Abraham and Sarah for the fulfillment of the promise.
📖 Scripture Guidance:
“At the time appointed I will return unto thee… and Sarah shall have a son.” — Genesis 18:14
Think about Joseph. God gave him dreams as a teenager, but the fulfillment came many years later. The pit, slavery, and prison were all part of God’s timing.
📖 Scripture Guidance:
“Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him.” — Psalm 105:19
Also, consider Lazarus. When he became sick, Jesus did not immediately go to him. To human eyes, it appeared that Jesus arrived too late. Yet God’s timing revealed a greater miracle—the resurrection of Lazarus.
📖 Scripture Guidance:
“Jesus said unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.” — John 11:23
This is the mystery: God’s delays are often preparations for greater manifestations of His glory.
What appears to be a delay may actually be divine alignment. God sees what we cannot see. He knows the people, circumstances, opportunities, and conditions that must come together before a promise is fulfilled.
Divine timing is God’s way of ensuring that His purpose is accomplished in the best possible way.
