 SCRIPTURE READING
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” — Proverbs 18:21
“Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt…” — Colossians 4:6
“He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.” — Matthew 7:29
️ MEDITATION
The lion is not only known for its strength but also for its voice. When a lion roars, it sends a message across territory—it establishes presence, authority, and identity.
In the same way, a spiritually minded believer must learn the importance of speaking correctly in alignment with God’s Word. Your words are not empty—they carry spiritual weight.
Many believers live defeated lives because they speak fear, doubt, and limitation instead of faith, truth, and victory. The tongue can either build destiny or destroy it.
Consider Jesus Christ. When He spoke, demons obeyed, storms calmed, sickness fled, and life was restored. His words carried divine authority because they were aligned with the will of the Father.
 Scripture Guidance:
“Peace, be still.” — Mark 4:39
Consider Elijah. By the word of the Lord, he declared that there would be no rain, and it came to pass. Later, he prayed again, and rain returned. His words carried spiritual authority because they were submitted to God.
 Scripture Guidance:
“There shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.” — 1 Kings 17:1
Also consider Peter. Though once fearful, he became bold through the Holy Spirit. His preaching carried power, and thousands were transformed through his words.
 Scripture Guidance:
“Repent, and be baptized every one of you…” — Acts 2:38
This is the mystery: A lion does not whisper in confusion—it declares with authority.
Likewise, a believer’s words should not be filled with fear or negativity but with truth, faith, and spiritual confidence.
Your mouth can either:
agree with your problems
or align with God’s promises
What you consistently speak will shape what you experience.
