“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us.” — Galatians 3:13
️ MEDITATION
Another profound mystery of the cross is redemption.
To redeem means to buy back or rescue by paying a price. Humanity was once enslaved by sin and bound under the curse of the law.
No human effort could break that bondage.
But at the cross, Jesus paid the ultimate price.
Through His sacrifice, Christ redeemed humanity from the power of sin, the curse of the law, and spiritual separation from God.
The cross became the place where freedom was purchased and a new life became possible.
The mystery is that the Son of God willingly paid a price that humanity could never afford.
Because of the cross, believers are no longer slaves to sin but are restored as children of God.
